Memberships

 

Prestonpans Hearts SC currently offer four membership options, which are outlined below.

 

ADULT FULL MEMBER

£1.50 (minimum) Tote Double Sales per week.

ASSOCIATE MEMBER

£20 per annum

YOUNG ADULT MEMBER (Student)

£5 per annum

JUVENILE MEMBER (up to age 16)

£2 per annum

Annual subscriptions quoted are for 2013-14 season.

 

Our preferred option is obviously for persons to become full members. You will receive full voting rights at each meeting/AGM and subsidised bus fares. Associate Membership was available on a trial basis during 2013-14 and will be reviewed at first committee meeting of 2014-15. It is aimed at those unable to attend meetings regularly on Thursday evenings. You will receive full voting rights and a slightly higher bus fare (50p per home match, £1 per away match). We will act on behalf of all members equally when it comes to tickets/transport. In a similar manner to HMFC your loyalty points will come into play. Another benefit of joining from ticketing perspective is that several members (and PHSC itself) have a good number of loyalty points but do not attend Easter Road. Therefore, if you may be struggling with your own loyalty points the club will apply on behalf of those who may fall below any cut off point. A lot of members have benefitted from this in the past and with visits to small grounds like Recreation Park and Central Pak as well as Easter Road and Ibrox on the horizon, being part of a supporters club is certainly beneficial.

 

Buses – We currently hire two minibuses for home games, giving us 32 seats. If we can recruit more members we will have to reconsider this and perhaps hire an additional minibus for matches. Provided there is sufficient interest, we travel to away games as often as possible. Interest is gauged as early as possible, usually 2-3 weeks prior to match, before any decision is taken.

 

Meetings – The club meet officially every four weeks in the upstairs lounge of Prestonpans Legion. Two tote draws take place on a fortnightly basis. If you wish to join as a full member, you can attend any meeting and our tote convenor, Brian Sharp, will sort you out with a tote book.

 

Social Calendar – Updated regularly throughout the year. Events such as our games challenge against Prestonpans Hibernian SC and Sportsman’s Lunch proved very popular in the past year and you can gain priority for participation/attendance by becoming a member of PHSC.
